Unattended sparc jumpstart using DHCP

Greetings,

I am trying to do an unattended jumpstart install of a sparc machine
using Sun's DHCP. I am doing jumpstart installs of x86 machines via
DHCP and sparc systems via RARPD without any problems.

I have added the extra parameters to the DHCP server, which is also the
boot server, and it mostly works, in that I can get the sparc machine
to install, but not without asking a few basic questions. I am using
the same sysidcfg as when doing the RARPD jumpstart, which works
without stopping to ask for anything. Specifically, when using DHCP,
the client wants to know what language I am using, and terminal type.
It also asks for the network interface, and whether or not I want to
enable IPv6 and configure Kerberos Security. However, my sysidcfg sets
system_locale, terminal, network_interface and security_policy.

It looks like the jumpstart client is not using my sysidcfg at all, but
I can see by using snoop(1M) that the correct string is being passed to
the client in the DHCP reply from the jumpstart boot server.

Note that DHCP is only being used in the jumpstart process, after which
the machine will use static addressing to determine its identity.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get an unattended jumpstart
install via DHCP? I have searched the web and the sun-managers
archives, and have not been able to find anything that specifically
addresses this problem. I would appreciate any insight into this
matter. Thanks.
