I have two T2000 servers, each equipped with dual 10GbE interfaces
(http://www.sun.com/products/networking/ethernet/10gigethernet/index.xml
) I am using a direct connection between the two servers using a 10GB
rated fiber patch, however I cannot achieve throughput speeds greater
than ~2.3GB when using utils such as nuttcp. I don't want to enable
jumbo frames and would be happy if I could just stream five consecutive
1Gbit threads, but I am not. Some details: Sol 10 6/06 w/latest
recommended patch set. Using nxge driver (1.0, Rev 2007.01.12.10.0),
and recommended /etc/system settings as per the T2000 docs and nxge
drivers info docs.
Any though appreciated.
