Gurus,
I've got a problem with a Sunfire v240 running Solaris 8. When the
server is rebooted it shuts down, restarts and comes back up fine. But
when I shut the server down and then try to start it up from a cold boot
the server seems to come up but the video does not initialize. I
usually have to bounce it several times then, magically, the video will
initialize and the server will come up fine. Am I missing something
with maybe the ALOM, the video card seems fine.
