Hi everyone,
I'm facing the following problem: I created a flar archive from on of
our machines following the sun whitepages ... However, this flar achive
(even compressed) had a size of aprox 6GB. Hence too big for a standart
DVD but ok for a dual layer DVD. So I created two flar's (mkisofs is NOT
capable of files greater than 4GB) with a udf filesystem. (-ufs switch).
The iso image is created and I burned it on a disk. After that I went to
a new machine (Ultra 45 with latest OBP/POST) and tried: "boot cdrom -
install". But the box always complains that it cannot find the kernel
... When I try the same disk on a v440 it works perfectly.
Any ideas ????????
