Has anyone successfully installed Solaris 8 02/02 on a SunBlade 1000 with
dual 750Mhz cpus? We get segmentation faults in the install console
window while the installation runs and the system crashed during the
process. Any recommendations on a good version to try.
The system will boot the cdrom in single user mode just fine and seems to
run with no errors. I am trying to re-install the OS on a system that got
root-kitted but I don't think they touched anything besides the OS.
