Performance raw vs raw+SDS(Solaris Volume Manager)

My question is:

I am using a Oracle Database configured with ASM. ASM use raw devices.

The OS is Solaris 10

Now the database is created on raw using physical devices (not SDS or VxVM).

The question: If I change from raw over physical devices to raw over
"Solaris Volume Manager(SDS)" devices, will the performance be decreased?

I am migration to SDS because, altough the array (a Sun 6130) allows to
expand luns, Solaris doesn't support to expand the partition table to
new size of the disk, without doing a reconfigure of the disk. The only
way to this without buy VxVM is to use metattach with Solaris Volume
Manager and create new luns for increase the space. My corncer is , if
"Solaris Volume Manager" will be a limitating factor for the performance.

Thanks
Jose Luis
