I just bought some Sun Ray 2's and Ultra 45 workstations, and they all
arrived with Type 7 Unix keyboards. Has anyone else been having problems
with them?
The Sun Ray 2's have known issues with type 7 Unix keyboards, where they
simply disappear, but a posting in the Sun Ray mailing list states that
Sun should be releasing a Sun Ray Server Software patch that should take
care of the issue. In the meantime, the Sun Ray users are forced to
power-cycle the keyboards by unplugging them from, and replugging them
into, the DTU. (Desk Top Unit)
However, this doesn't work for the Ultra-45 workstations, and my
searches haven't revealed any solutions.
