Replace raid 5 disk in SDS

Managers,
I have a raid 5 setup using 4 disks in a D1000 on a 420R running Solaris
8, SDS 4.2.1. One of my raid 5 disks is in a maintenance state and had
plenty of hard errors. I'll try doing a metareplace -e but I suspect it
will fail again. Can anyone give me the procedures to swap out a raid 5
disk if it is in fact failed. My guess is that it is hot swappable,
leaving the volumes mounted, but just want to make sure I don't leave
out a step.

d90: RAID
    State: Needs Maintenance
    Invoke: metareplace d90 c2t11d0s0 <new device>
    Interlace: 32 blocks
    Size: 213343983 blocks
Original device:
    Size: 213345792 blocks
Device Start Block Dbase State Hot Spare
        c2t10d0s0 3219 No Okay
        c2t11d0s0 3219 No Maintenance
        c3t0d0s0 3219 No Okay
        c3t1d0s0 3219 No Okay

Thanks in advance.

Paul
