remaining DST concerns

I'm hoping some of you run Oracle E-Business suite.

I have patched both Development and Production servers for the OS's,
firmware(s) (if applicable), database patches, application patches, a
Developer 6i patch. Going forward there are still plenty of JDK
installations (varying versions) throughout an Oracle E-business file
system(s) to consider for 2007a DST update.

For every JDK 1.3.1 installation with the E-business suite file system,
I've used the SUN tzupdate1.3.1 utility with great success. There are
still remnants of JDK 1.2.2 (Apache) and JDK1.1.8 installations that
nothing seems to be able to be done about and they are no longer
supported.

Note: 130091.1 is being followed to ensure the concurrent manager and
http server configurations are pointed to use our standalone JDK 1.3.1
install. I am still required by the Applications to leave some ENV
settings to point to JDK 1.1.8. I believe this is mainly for the AD
utilities as they are not compatible with 1.3.1+, but I cannot be
entirely certain if anything else would use the 1.1.8 install and
perform a Time offset calculation.

Any comments are appreciated.
(Note: I do have an SR logged with Oracle on these concerns, but I'm not
receiving a timely response or the confidence that I require in order to
let this rest)
