Hi gurus,
I got a number of replies. All in agreement that it cannot be done
without dhcp. My problem is that somehow I cannot get the Sun dhcp to
work on my install server. I have a network xx.xx.xx.0 subnetted to a
class C network with network mask 255.255.255.128.
/usr/sbin/dhcpconfig -D SUNWbinfiles -p /var/dhcp
returns OK
dhcpconfig -N xxx.65.70.0 -m 255.255.255.128 -t xxx.65.70.1
returns OK
However pntadm -L returns xxx.60.0.0 as the network. It doesn't see
that it is subnetted to a Class C. Am I missing something here?
