Daylight Saving patch on Solaris 8: which of the 3 kernel patches?

I need to apply the DST patch on an old Solaris 8 server (E250)

There are 2 patches included in the DST patch bundle for Solaris 8

109809-05 (Timezone data patch)
108993-65 (LDAP2 client, libc)

The LDAP patch 108993-65 requires kernel patch 108528-29 (among other)
Unfortunately the kernel patch 108528-29 has some incompatibility problem with
iostat/vmstat (Read Sun Alert # 57515 on this) - Quote from Sun Alert:

http://sunsolve.sun.com/search/document.do?assetkey=1-26-57515-1&searchclause=Alert%242057515

     " * Sun Alert ID: 57515
     * Synopsis: Solaris 8 KU Patch Version 28 and 29 May Be Incompatible With Solaris Resource Manager 1.2 (SRM) or Veritas File System (VxFS) Versions 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 and 4.0 and may impact the following applications:

     * Solaris Resource Manager (SRM)
     * Veritas File System (VxFS) 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 and 4.0
     * Tivoli
     * sar(1), vmstat(1M), mpstat(1M), and kstat(1M)
2. Commands vmstat(1M), mpstat(1M), sar(1) and kstat(1M) may report an inaccurate (high) number of blocked threads and/or iowait times.
3. Once there is any heavy read activity on a VxFS file system, vmstat will start reporting excessively high numbers of threads blocked on I/O (more than in the system) and mpstat will report 99-100% time spent in iowait. Systems running VxFS with KU version 28 or 29 will result in iostat returning 99% busy, even though there is no I/O going on the system"

Which means I might have to install "other" Solaris 8 kernel patches:

117000-05
117350-46

or do I really have to install all three Solaris 8 kernel patches?

By the way, what are the differences between these 3 kernel patches anyway?

108528-29
117000-05
117350-46

Should I just install the Solaris 8 recommended patch cluster instead?

Thanks for your suggestion,
TM.
