hello.
In the Linux world i can mount via the loop device.
for example (from RedHat man mount(8)):
mount /tmp/fdimage /mnt -t msdos -o loop=/dev/loop3,blocksize=1024
but, how i use it with Linux and would like to in Solaris8:
mount /tmp/companion.iso /mnt -t iso9660 -o loop=/dev/loop2
so, i can install packages from the companion cd with out
having the cd (just the iso i made with mkisofs).
can this be done in solaris 8?
