Gang,
I am attempting to configure a SUN Cluster 2.2 cluster (2.2 is a
requirement) on 2 - E250's running Solaris 2.6. I am having trouble with
the SUN Terminal concentrator (Nortel Micro annex XL) though. I setup the
concentrator with an ip address with no problem. The trouble is that I can
not connect through it using the cluster console software on the cluster
management station (Ultra 5). I get an error that the port is in use.
Indeed, if I telnet into the concentrator and display the status of the port
I want to use it says it's connected even though there is no active
connection. I am using the SUN branded cables. I have been through the
cluster installation manuals (very weak) and I can't see any documentation
on setting up the terminal concentrator.
BTW, I can connect to any of the ports on the concentrator using the same
cables and my laptop. And also I can connect to the E250's using a null
serial cable and my laptop.
Can anyone out there tell me what I am missing?
