L40 service password

Gang,
 
Does anyone out there know how to clear a service password on a StorEdge L40
tape library? I removed a tape module and need to re-configure the library
to not look for the drive anymore but in order to do this I need the service
password which nobody knows!! I tried power cycling but the library is
still in the "Partly Available" state.
