Hi Guru's
I need help to identify the right parts for my sutiation. I
am trying to bring Sun StorageEdge D1000 (JBOD) under control of Sun
Ultra-10 workstation using VxVm. I have listed out the parts below & i need
guru's to help me out to choose the ideal parts needed for my combination.
1. LSI symbios 53c875 processor PCI based SCSI card (68-pin port)
2. SUN X6541A 375-0006 SYM22802 Dual HVD SCSI PCI HBA (68-pin port)
Need help to choose this HBA, i got confused while talking to ebay
vendors weather i have to match all 3 things like X6541A, 375-0006 &
SYM22802. some vender says he has SYM22802 Dual HVD SCSI PCI HBA which is
pulled from sun box but he cannot verify its also compatible with X6541A /
375-0006. When i saw those pictures they all look same. so should i go with
it or i have to stick with matching all 3 things?.
3. Cable part numbers:
530-2454 - External SCSI Cable (Drive to Host HBA), HD68 to VHDC, 4M
530-2455 - External SCSI Cable (Drive to Host HBA), HD68 to VHDC, 10M
530-1885 - External SCSI Cable, HD68 to HD68, 2M
530-1886 - External SCSI Cable, HD68 to HD68, 12M
4 Jumper cable:
530-1883 - External SCSI Jumper Cable, HD68 to HD68, 20cm
5 Terminator:
530-1890 - HD68 Wide Differential Terminator with LED
If some one can help me to identify this parts that will be
great.Ifany of those i missed plse guide me out.
