DST Patch for Solaris 6 and 7

Howdy,

I've searched in the sunmanagers archives and google and
found some discussion of the DST patching (or lack thereof)
for Solaris 6 and 7. One company put out a press release
saying they were offering it for free (Terix). Has anyone tried it?

One thread here talked about using nih.gov data and
zic to regenerate the timezone files yourself. There was
no follow up on the success of that idea, and I'm unable
to locate a howto on the use of zic (man pages only
tell me what I can do, not what I need to do out of
all the options).

Any further news on these options?

Regards,
