Hello All,
I am facing a problem on the Solaris 9 related with tape devices. We just
upgraded our backup server to Solaris 9 with new hardware. We are using Sun
qualified LP10000-S fiber HBAs. It shows all devices on the OK prompt,
but /dev/rmt is empty. Sun Storage Foundation Kit was installed by system
admin. We configured st.conf as very well, but still problem is persist.
Someone said me that the tapes should bind with its physical fc adresses.
Does anyone know this configuration. Could you please help me how i
configure my autochanger without st.conf resources.
