How to send break to a V20z??

Hello managers,

I'm wondering how to halt a V20z over the serial-over-lan connection?
Background is that we're facing some problems with two clustered v20z
(systems freezing, no login, but no panic), and SUN wants us to send a
core-dump when the problem occurs again.
I've learned that I have to start the debugger by rebooting the machine
with eeprom boot-file=kadb, and then halt it by issuing ^Ecl0 on the
serial console when I've started platform access by platform console.

Hm, so far so good, but it doesn't work: I can send as many halts as I
want, may it halt-0 or one of the other sequences, but the machine just
keeps running and running.
I've also tried to enable the alternate break sequence
in /etc/default/kbd (KEYBOARD_ABORT=alternate), also without success.

Any ideas??

Thanks, and have a nice hackin',

Harald
