Hi there, I have a strange problem with one of my v440 boxes. It keeps
shutting itself down and isn't logging anything into the messages file. We
have had to attach the box to a console server which logs all messages that
are thrown out of the serial port, then we waited and last night it shutdown
again. Thankfully it threw a load of errors out of the serial port.
My question to you guys is this...based on these errors (below) would you say
this is system board failure rather than a dodgy DIMM? The reason I ask this
is that there are errors detected by all four CPU's, and also the errors are a
mixture of RUE, FRU, UE etc, etc ...It just seems to me as though something
big has happened
Any help would be greatly appreciated
PS: does anybody know of a good resource/site where I can get definitions of
all the terms below so that I can more effectively troubleshoot these system
errors?
