Hi,
I work for a startup that had been planning to use
solaris to deploy our application. They are now
considering using windows servers instead, as this
would allow dropping servers at the client site rather
than using a data center.
Just wondering if someone can point me to a good
resource
that compares windows and solaris/unix servers. Or if
anyone can comment from personal experience. I've
worked a little with windows servers and just feel
like there has got to be something terribly wrong with
basing our
entire business model on servers that are so
incredibly painful to administer.
