Hi Managers,

I have a problem in Solaris 5.7 operating system. After creating users when I say ls -l to users home dir I see:

"drwxr-xr-x 8 oracle8i dba 512 Dec 21 2000 precomp"

When I login as a user example "oracle8i" and type ls -l i get:

"drwxr-xr-x 8 1005 101 512 Dec 21 2000 precomp"

and one more thing is when i type a command "id" from users login:
"uid=1005 gid=101"

which is not correct. I should get in this way right? "uid=1005(oracle8i) gid=101(dba)"

Can any one help on this how to fix this problem. I have scrached my head to fix it.

Thanks in Advance,
Shiv.
