Installing Specific Packages after booting from CDROM

I had some panic messages after updating the system and subsequent reboot. I
have found the source of problem (some packages are needed to be installed and
some to be removed). I boot from CDROM -s and then mount my drive as: mount
/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s0 /mnt. What I dont know is how may I remove packages from
existing install or add new - when I just give the pkgadd command it tells me
that the: pkgadd: ERROR: unable to open admin file <default>: No such file or
directory

Thanks
