Hi,
Trying to move from NIS to LDAP. Got a test setup in place. Works fine with
Solaris 8 clients. With Solaris9 client logins fail. No reason that I can find
but if I use telnet or SSH just get a message "connection to host closed by
foreign host". So far I've not been able to identify any useful info via
truss/snoop/log files etc. It just quietly dies.
ldap_client_file is identical on both working and non-working systems as is
nsswitch.conf.
System is patched up to date as far as I can discern.
Any ideas anyone?
