Hi Gurus,
I have Solaris 9 installed on a SunFire 280R with two 72GB hard drives and
have mirroring setup between the 2 disks. My root disk is called disk and my
second disk is mirror. My boot-device is "disk mirror cdrom net". All seemed
to go ok and I was able to pull each disk out in turn and the other disk
booted up no problems at all. Later I created some files on my root disk and
decided I would pull out my root disk to check the data was on my mirror but
when it went to boot from mirror I got the following errors. d0 is my root
filesystem mirror.

When I powered off and replaced the disk and rebooted again it booted from
disk no problems and when I did a "reboot mirror" it went and booted from the
mirror again with no problems. If I pull out the mirror disk the root disk
boots without any problems so the issue only arrises when I pull out the root
disk. Like I said earlier I was able to pull out disks without any errors
before and all thats changed has been the creation of a few small files on my
root disk. Anyone have any ideas why this would happen at this stage? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
