Gurus
I am in the process of configuring a v210 system with Solaris 9 9/04
and then applying the patch cluster which contains the kernel patch
118558-20, please don't ask why.
I've installed the OS, mirrored the disks and installed the patch
cluster.
After rebooting the system I now get this: -

Rebooting with command: boot
Boot device: /pci@1c,600000/scsi@2/disk@1,0:a File and args:

Bus Error
The / file system (/dev/md/rdsk/d10) is being checked.
Bus Error

WARNING - fatal error from fsck - error 138
Unable to repair the / filesystem. Run fsck manually
(fsck -F ufs /dev/md/rdsk/d10). System will reboot when you exit the
shell.

Type control-d to proceed with normal startup,
(or give root password for system maintenance):

Is there a 'get out of jail' procedure for this problem, or do I have to
go to site to rebuild the system?

I've tried the fsck option, but I get a Bus Error when I attempt it.

Any Ideas?

Thanks - Ian
