S10, oracle 10g + performance + I/O tool questions

Hello,

I have a few questions about performance testing with oracle DB on Solaris 10, Sun Fire V240, Memory size: 2GB config.
I have a 80GB Tagmastore LUN that is SAN attached to my host, created a VXFS type file system and I have installed oracle 10g/created database during installation.

I use SWINGBENCH which is a freeware to generate I/O and the maximum I/O I can generate varies from 2.2MB/second to 3.6MB/second.
I came across ORION, but I am not sure if I can run that against the DB that I already created.

I would like to know about a typical oracle DB set-up on such systems and what is the typical IOPs that is generated for a DB of 80GB?
What kind of IOPS should I see on such a config? Is there any other tool(freeware and licensed) that I can use to generate I/O on a oracle DB?

I went through the document Oracle Database Performance Tuning Guide from the oracle web site and I see recommendations of using RAID 1, and 64 disks of 16GB, etc etc. What is the typical DB capacity?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
  Thanks,
Smitha
