Hello,
I have an E420R with a CD-ROM that won't stay closed. I've seen this
before on Ultra2's and Ultra10's where it was just an annoyance, but
this time I actually need to use the drive.
The drive shows up in 'probe-scsi' as:
TOSHIBA XM6201TASUN32XCD
Does the drive need replacing or is there some trick to fix this?
The OpenBoot .version info is:
Release 3.23 Version 0 created 1999/06/30 13:53
OBP 3.23.0 1999/06/30 13:53
POST 1.2.7 1999/05/24 17:33
The OS is currently Solaris 7 with all recommended patches applied
(EOL, I know. It will be upgraded soon).
