Frozen terminal ouptut

Hi,

I'm running an eval on a t2000 threads box. It has this strange problem in
that if I do a recursive listing of a folder the terminal output freezes after
a couple of pages worth of output. It seems to vary depending on where the
display term is running eg using putty direct from a PC then the output
freezes. If I ssh on to an adjacent system first (again using windoze putty)
then log onto the T2000 and do the "ls -Rl" it seems to be ok. If I run a
truss on the process I don't see anything unusual apart from the slow
response. I can interrupt the process (which shows up in the truss output) but
the terminal output staggers on for some indeterminate period thereafter.

It's like the output has ended up in a buffer somewhere but something can't
decide what to do with that buffered output. I'm inclined tho think the fault
isn't with putty as the T2000 is the only machine out of hundreds I use which
has ever displayed this fault.

kernel rev is 5.10, base 01/06, 118833-23.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Joe
