Hello gurus,

I've a Fire V20z with Solaris 10 x86 and SC3.1U4, EIS-relase 01/06 (yes,
I know it's quite old, but since it's productive I can't patch it unless
I REALLY know it's necessary...).
My monitoring shows that swap memory consumption is constantly growing
higher and higher, at the moment, the machine has 5644M swap in use
(physical RAM is 4 GB).
prstat showed up a java-process which consumes abt. 3727M (2158M
resident), and I think this is the "memory-eater".
A "ps -p <PID> -o comm,args,rss,pmem" gave me:

/usr/jdk/jdk1.5.0_04/bin/java
/usr/jdk/jdk1.5.0_04/bin/java -Xms4M -Xmx64M
-classpath /opt/SUNWjdmk/5.1/lib/j
2209180
53.7

So, I'm quite sure that this is really the nasty proc. Anyone seen this
before? Could it be that there is a memory leak in this proc?
If yes, is there are patch for this? I've already searched SunSolve, but
without real success - of course a lot of java patches, but no-one seems
to fit.

Thanks in advance,

and have a nice hackin',

Harald
