hello all,
i'm trying to install S10U3 on a new T2000, with jumpstart.
When the T2000 reboot after installation, there is no network, because
it tries to plumb ipge0:
...
Failed to plumb IPv4 interface(s): ipge0
...
but ipge never exists in solaris 10U3, it has been replaced by e1000g!
i can plumb manually e1000g:
bash-3.00# ifconfig e1000g0 plumb
bash-3.00# ifconfig e1000g0 fury
bash-3.00# ifconfig e1000g0
e1000g0: flags=1000842<BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index 2
         inet 192.168.0.26 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 192.168.0.255
         ether 0:14:4f:22:34:b2

but still continue to have no network!

This happened when the machine boots:
Dec 18 07:14:59 fury genunix: [ID 540533 kern.notice] ^MSunOS Release
5.10 Version Generic_118833-33 64-bit
...
Dec 18 07:15:25 fury svc.startd[7]: [ID 652011 daemon.warning]
svc:/network/physical:default: Method "/lib/svc/method/net-physical"
failed with exit status 96.
...
Dec 18 07:18:27 fury mac: [ID 543131 kern.info] NOTICE: e1000g0/0 registered
Dec 18 07:18:27 fury e1000g: [ID 766679 kern.info] Intel(R) PRO/1000
Network Connection, Driver Ver. 5.0.11
...

why method related to network appears before driver e1000g is loaded?

Anyone got this troubles?

thanks,

gerard
