Afternoon all,

For the record, my problem was caused by Informix accessing the SVM in raw
mode.

Little known to me, raw access to a software raid involving slice 0 you
should not start with cylinder 0. Logically this makes sense I guess, but
when tired and "saving space" I was getting quire annoyed.

Anyway, pulled apart the raid and repartitioned the disks. Informix came
back with no problems.
