Hi All

I've spent the last couple of days configuring the new 6140 array to
present LUNs to a T2000 running Solaris 10 with Veritas VxVM 4.1.

I have presented LUNs masked to the WWNs of the two PCI-X Sun (Qlogic)
Single ported HBAs successfully. Solaris (format) can see the LUNs and
Veritas VxVM has initialised the LUNs; Veritas DMP works fine. The
problem I have is when I reboot the T2000 at which point one or the
other (or both) of the Sun (Qlogic) Single ported HBAs does not
intialise and connect to the 6140??? If I remove the fibre cable and
reattach it after reboot, Solaris (and subsequently Veritas) picks up
the LUN.

My question is has anyone out there experienced similar issues? I can't
for the life of me understand why the devices are not picked up
consistently when the server is rebooted.
