Hi,
I 'm a newbie in vcs & try to learn it through reading the online books/docs. Anyway, I just create a diskgroup & volumes & am wondering whether I need to register the new diskgroup & volumes into vertias cluster? If I do, how do I do it? If I don't, how does vcs figure out & failover my diskgroup to the other node?
Also, after I get the volumes to be controlled in vcs, the next steps are to install oracle agent, configure service group, & then install oracle binaries on a shared storage, correct?
# hastatus -sum

B ClusterService vcs-test-phys1 Y N ONLINE
B ClusterService vcs-test-phys2 Y N OFFLINE
bash-3.00# vxdctl -c mode
mode: enabled: cluster inactive
Any helps/suggestions are appreciated.
Thx,
-Chris
