memtool - pkgadd: ERROR: request script

Dear
I trying to install the memtool (get this tool from
http://www.solarisinternals.com) on Solaris 8 Sparc
but when i run the on /tmp

# pkgadd -d .
(I got this error)

/tmp/RMCmem/install/request:
/tmp/RMCmem/install/request: cannot open pkgadd:
ERROR: request script did not complete successfully..

Please any ideas to resolve this problem for
successfully installation...
