Unable to downgrade firmware from CPU/Memory SystemBoard to I/O SystemBoard

I get the following error ... (requirement -- downgrade /N0/SB0 to
5.17.1)

/N0/IB6 -- is on 5.17.1
And, /N0/SB0 -- is on 5.20.2

lom>flashupdate -y -c /N0/IB6 /N0/SB0
Waiting for critical processes to finish. This may take a while.
Critical processes have finished.
PROM /N0/SB0/FP0 and PROM /N0/IB6/FP0 are not the same image type
PROM /N0/SB0/FP1 and PROM /N0/IB6/FP0 are not the same image type

The firmware should be the same across systemboards and systemcontroller
(right?) . What happened was, I had the requirement to add an additional
board and the new board came with 5.20.2. The existing boards had 5.17.1
on it. I upgrade the other 2 system boards, but I was kind of
hysterically non-willing to upgrade the system controller and I/O board
and hence decided to downgrade all the CPU/Memory System Boards to
Firmware version 5.17.1 .. But, unfortunately I cannot. Now my system
controller and I/O board are running on 5.17.1 and the CPU/Memory
SystemBoards are running on 5.20.2 ... Is this an issue ? Should I go
ahead and update the I/O Board and System Controller with 5.20.2 ? Why
do I get the above message while downgrading. If I read the System
Reference manual, it tells me that I can downgrade from 5.19 to 5.17 ...
but it never said about downgrading from 5.20.2 to 5.17.1 (Is it that
downgrading from 5.20.2 to 5.17.1 not allowed?)

Any help / directions regards this issue will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
- Abhijit Das
