problems with RSC card

Hello --

I'm encountering some problems when attempting to setup an RSC card in a
Sun-Fire-280R. I suspect that the card may be bad, but wanted to get some
feedback to see if in fact the problem could be something other than the
card. I've configured these cards on other Sun-Fire-280R systems without
a problem.

Running :

        /usr/platform/`uname -i`/rsc/rsc-config

Produces the following error message :

        rscadm: RSC returned garbage: 0x00000053:0x00000018

any ideas?
