I have downloaded and installed Solaris Management Console (SMC) 3.0 and it
seems to be running. When I then try and run the "gui-setup" script which I
assume enables me to use the windowed console, I receive the following
error:
//.bash_profile[6]: source: not found
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
com/sun/symon/install/panels/InSunMCES_Setup
I'm running Solaris 8 (Apr 2002) on an Ultra10 with 512MB RAM:
SunOS crafty 5.8 Generic_108528-13 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10
JDK version (meets min requirements):
Solaris VM (build Solaris_JDK_1.2.2_10, native threads, sunwjit)
I've read through all the Sun docs, FAQs, etc and just wondering if anybody
else has experienced a similar problem or perhaps can point me in the right
direction?
