Hi managers,
I had a similar problem a while back with the same machine and I did get
it working with a reconfigure boot.
However since relocating the server to the customer's premises the
backups have been failing and the reason being that it was giving:
/dev/rmt/0cn: no such device or address
I checked and /dev/rmt/0cn was an ok link (ie not broken).
I thought maybe the USB cable had been unplugged and put in a different
socket so tried another reconfigure reboot with no success.
I next tried devfsadm. No change, so I thought maybe the fact there are
links in /dev/rmt to the devices and if they are incorrect I should
clean first then redetect. So I did a devfsadm -C -v.
It removed the links in /dev/rmt/ as well as /dev/rmt itself, but did
not redetect anything.
help? :)
