vlan tagging on T2000 ipge Sol10 Update 2

Dear all knowing and all seeing,

I would like to use VLAN tagging with all interfaces on a T2000. However
with Solaris 10 1/06 the interfaces show up as ipge0-3 and so
aggregation is not supported. I was told that update 2 (6/06) would
allow this and expected the interfaces to become something like epge0-3.

However, I installed Update 2 and was left with the old interfaces, from
what I could see.

I tried to ping the other IP address (172.20.11.5 and 172.20.22.5) and
only the 20.11.5 would respond. The other didn't.

The name of the machine is simon.

$ ifconfig -a

lo0: flags=2001000849<UP,LOOPBACK,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4,VIRTUAL> mtu
8232 index 1

inet 127.0.0.1 netmask ff000000

ipge0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index
2

inet 172.20.11.5 netmask ffff0000 broadcast 172.20.255.255

$ cat /etc/hostname.ipge0

simon up

$ cat /etc/hostname.ipge2000

172.22.11.5 up

Has anybody got any ideas?

Many thanks in advance,

S.
