Hi,

I have six machines with solaris 8 and 9 attached to one library with 6 LTO3
drives, 2 LTO2 drives and 1 SDLT drive through an scsi-fiber converter

Solaris create the /dev/rmt devices for all LTO drives, but not for SDLT

The next es the output of luxadm -e dump_map command for the hba.

9 11800 0 10000000c92ee277 20000000c92ee277 0x1f (Unknown
Type,Host Bus Adapter)

For the position 8, the type of device show "Disk Device" when this it is
the SDLT drive

I install patches to"st" for both version of solaris.

Somebody knows if something special configuration is needed for sdlt drive
