I have an E250 with a Storedge array that has six 18G drives raided (5)
with Solstice Disksuite on Solaris 7 leaving me with about 87G of
useable space.
I want to expand the space available to the project using that array.
I have a bunch of E250's from which I can swap some drives. If I were to
add some internal drives on the first E250, could SDS logically add them
to the array? In other words could I have an array spanning 6 external
disks and 2 internal disks? If so, would they all have to be the same
size disk?
Or, is there some other logic I need to understand regarding raiding
versus file system space?
