Procedure to replace battery in StorEdge A1000

Hi All,

What is the procedure to replace battery in StorEdge A1000? Do i have
to buy it from Sun? Is it available for free if we have a support
contract? Does it requires a shutdown?

Since the battery charge is over, StorEdge A1000 has stopped write
cacheing and this is deteriorating the response time and throughput of
the system.
