I have a Solaris 9 machine that runs Oracle.
When I do an
# init 6
The machine never reboots.
init 0
doesn't do anything either.
shutdown -r now
does seem to work though.
Has anyone seen where an init doesn't actually shutdown or reboot the
machine?
In addition, I noticed when the Oracle start script is enabled some
services don't startup when the machine boots. These are
/usr/lib/nfs/nfsd
sshd
I have to manually start these services after the machine boots up. Has
anyone seen this?
Thank You.
