Folks,
How can I set a TurboGX card to 24 bit ? How do I know which resolution and color depth settings ? When I browse some 24 bit gifs, jpeg. The card seems like is in 256 colors mode. I have it installed in a SPARC20 Solaris 8 -- with latest recommended patches. I am using a 'PC' monitor with the sunTOvga cable converter. The monitor is a Sony Multiscan 200sf. When the machine boots I can see a 3D Sun log rendered in the upper left corner and 'looks' 24bit.
Also what is the fastest 24 bit card that can be installed on a SPARC20 under Solaris8 ?
