Hi,
Somebody in the office just pointed to me the existence of
/etc/net/ticlts, in fact in /etc/net there are 3 directories; ticlts
ticots ticotsord
they contain a hosts and service file (on solaris 8).
What are these directories and files for????

It looks like they store a copy of the original hosts file created when
the system was first built, but certainly does not contain any
amendments made to the usual /etc/inet/hosts file.
Should these files be kept up to date?

Thanks
Dan.
