Hi together,

I currently have the small problem that after boot on my X2100 (AMD processor,
i.e. x86 Solaris) the console has an American keyboard layout instead of the
German one which is shown by my PC USB keyboard.

So far I tried the following without success:

1) loadkeys -s 9

I have read that PC USB keyboard maybe do not have a country code set so that
the American keyboard is set as a default. So I changed this inside
the /lib/svc/method/keymap file but without success.

2) eeprom kbd-type=German

I see that this is stored somewhere by typing 'eeprom'.

Any other ideas how to fix this?
