Is there any reason to use Solaris' convoluted DHCP server?

I am having a real difficult time understanding why Solaris' DHCP server
is designed the way it is. Some of it seems to be due to the RFC, but
it does not seem to offer any benefits, as far as I can tell, over the
ISC (Internet Software Consortium) DHCP server.

Am I missing something here? Does it offer something the ISC package
doesn't? Seems like an awful amount of "clusterfun" over ISC's.

P.S. It was the DHCP section that kept me from getting a perfect/100%
on the SCNA -- I got a big fat 0% on that part. Both the Sun and New
Rider's study guides had endless errors and incorrect info. The reviews
on Amazon.COM seem to agree with me too.
