hi, all,
We need to refresh large database from one datacenter to another
datacenter from time to time, and we request SA to change the TCP window
parameter: tcp_xmit_hiwat/tcp_recv_hiwat to 512k.
Recently we request SA to add this to solaris jumpstart procedure so we
don't have to do that case by case. And our SA manager said there will be
more memory consumption if we change the default value.
I am interested in, how to measure the impact of such change, like the
memory usage change(in kernel, or user process memory increase, how much?).
Does anyone here have the experience?
