print config 5.8 5.9

I saw that on my 5.8 machine /etc/init.d/lp start
started the print services and in 5.9 /usr/lib/lpsched
started them. why would not it start up on reboot from
the init.d on both, shd i configure something for this
so lp services start up normally on reboot?
