Frame Buffer Issues

Does anyone know what resolution setting options exist for the frame buffer of a
Sun Blade 100 running Solaris 8 ?

I needed to replace the monitor and now have an Acer AL1906 LCD plat pannel
monitor. The resolution the of image is 1152 x 900 with 72 KHz x 76Hz. The
AL1906 can handle resolutions to 1280 x 1024, but the limiting factor is a peak
vertical of 75Hz. The AL1906 will display a beautiful image but will blank and
resync ever few seconds. During the time when the image is on the screen, it is
stable and perfect.

I have gone through the manuals and the SunManagers FAQ in this issue. The FAQ
section 11.3 does list a URL to web pages for more frame buffer details, but the
URL's:

    http://www.uark.edu/sunfaq/FrameBuffer.html
    http://bul.eecs.umich.edu/~crowej/sunfaq/FrameBuffer.html

return 404's.

What options are available to alter the frame buffer resolution/timing to bring
the Vertical down from 76Hz with out too adversly impacting the image ?
